With the Lunar New Year just around the corner I thought it would be fun to make some “good fortune” care packages! I filled them with home made items you can make via the Cricut here, and bought items which I will link below!
The package included:
- Decorations: Pig Garland made with the Cricut and Chinese Lanterns.
- Treats: Take out boxes made with the Cricut and filled with: Candy, Chinese New Year pencils, and Pig erasers.
- Games: Chinese New Year Fortune Teller game and the best game ever: Pass the Pigs.
- Craft: Pig Crown Kit
- Red Envelopes filled with $2 bills (because I am not a millionaire and kids always think $2 bills are fun!)
I tried to include things that the whole family could do together and enjoy a fun evening celebrating the new year! You can send the package to friends who’ve moved away or family members. Getting things in the mail is always so fun! Especially if it’s something that brings everyone together.
