Love Day Decor

My Valentine’s Day decor started out super small, I made a felt banner with the words “love, love, love” on it. That was it. I displayed it over my television, and then I went to target 😬 My collection tripled that night. The past two years I haven’t been able to find very cute decor though! So, on a mission I went to make my own. 🙌🏻

Last year I shared the 3D paper heart garland. Super simple and cute.

This year I was on the hunt for a “conversation hearts” garland. I thought about making one out of felt (😍), but with a new kitten in the home I ran out of time and space, maybe next year 🙏🏻.

With only paper supplies in tow, I got my cricut out and cut away, this was my final result:

If you don’t have a cricut, or paper cutting machine, these hearts could easily be made with stencils, orange paint, and paper.

This was the first year where my Valentine’s Day decor spilled out into other rooms 😳. I tried to find a banner that was silly enough for Danny to like, and cute enough for me to display 😂. Then I came upon the perfect garland for the doughnut lover (which Danny totally is). This “xoxo” banner from Lia Griffith was quick, easy, and just so cute. She has a PDF version that you can just print out and cut out, and she has a SVG version that you can use with your cricut.

She also has some super cute Ladybug Valentines Day cards right now! (If you don’t already subscribe to her site, I highly recommend it! It’s $5 a month, and she comes up with the cutest crafts! It has saved me time and time again.

Happy Love Day my squishies! I hope you spend it full of love and covered in banners.
